Hotel Equities, one of the top hotel development and management companies in the industry, is currently searching for a remarkable Sales Coordinator for the Hampton Inn by Hilton in Stone Mountain, GA! Overall Responsibilities: The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the sales department in achieving revenue and customer satisfaction goals by efficiently and effectively coordinating the sales and catering effort. Furthermore, the Sales Coordinator will be responsible for providing support to the sales team in executing contracts, proposals, and correspondence. Other responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Assisting with sales efforts in soliciting new business and in selling guestrooms and meeting space
  • Conducting site tours
  • Assisting with hotel and sales related functions, parties, and blitzes
  • Overseeing and creating social networking sites
  • Preparing and sending direct mail projects, sales packets, and collateral
  • Providing assistance to the Director and/or Manager of Sales and Marketing
  • Communicating and coordinating the guests’ requests with other departments
  • Answering and responding to incoming telephone calls
  • Overseeing office equipment maintenance
  • Managing all meeting room reservations and coordinating details with other departments, including group agreements and set-up of meeting rooms
  • Coordinating and ensuring the delivery of requested equipment and/or food for meeting rooms and special events
  • Typing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and routing event orders to proper departments

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry is required - 2 years minimum
  • Previous sales experience preferred
  • Experience with buidling Social Media Sites and updating a business website
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Knowledge of Hotel Sales Pro is preferred
  • Available to meet guests and assist with welcome/check-in outside of the scope of regular business hours
  • Basic administrative knowledge such as business letters and telephone etiquette
  • Extremely well organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to read, write and speak English, with excellent grammar and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Positive interaction with colleagues and guests
  • Excellent customer service skills are required
  • Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision
