Direct Report: Dir. of Communications & Marketing
Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities:
Assist in development and implementation of the marketing, communications & public relations strategy.
Marketing Coordinator Job Duties:
Implements marketing and communications campaigns; preparing marketing and communications strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and updating presentations.
Tracking and analyzing effectiveness of marketing and communication campaigns.
Manages Hotel Equities’ social media strategy i.e. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google Business, etc.
Uses media and communication to build, maintain and manage the reputation of our clients aligned with the public relations strategy.
Monitors internal and external communications to ensure adherence to brand standards.
Creates press releases that adhere to Hotel Equities’ and franchisee’s brand standards.
Compiles content and works with graphic designer to create quarterly newsletter.
Assists in preparing marketing budget by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
Monitors budget by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with graphics department; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
Supports field Sales staff by becoming familiar with brand product and guideline knowledge, new product information and market trends.
Researches competitive tools by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, pricing.
Plans meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating mailing lists.
Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Marketing, Coordination, Project Management, Understanding the Customer, Process Improvement, Initiative, Planning, Financial Skills, Graphic Design, Editing, Writing or Journalism/Public Relations experience
Desired Software Proficiencies:
Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher & SharePoint
Adobe InDesign, Photoshop & Acrobat
2 or 4 yr. College degree required.
