    Overall Responsibilities:

    The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining the overall operation of the maintenance department and the appearance and working order of the hotel. Furthermore, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the administration of the company's maintenance and life safety programs to include purchasing, preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, hotel security and life safety and supervision of the entire maintenance department including the maintenance associates.

    • Candidates for Maintenance Engineer must have a minimum of 1 year hotel maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Prior knowledge of and experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and/or related areas required.
    • Ability and availability to work flexible hours which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
    • Ability and availability to be "On Call" 24/7 for any serious maintenance issue(s) or any guest related maintenance issue that needs immediate attention.
    • Ability to lead others and hold maintenance associates accountable.
    • Ability to manage others virtually by providing guidance over the telephone.
    • Ability to read, write and speak English with excellent grammar and communication skills (written and verbal).
